Retired from his last role managing the Indices at the Baltic Exchange in 2020. Playing regularly at his home club of Moor Park off a handicap of 13.5. Was the Gold Cup winner in 2000 and Society Captain in 2005 & 2013.
Elected Honorary Secretary in 2019.

Retired from competitive shipbroking in 2021. Regular player in BEGS matches & meetings playing off a steady 18 handicap. Society captain in 2003, 2004 & 2014. For the last 10 years has managed the Summer meeting @ Thorpeness.
Elected Honorary Treasurer in 2007.

President
Having been retired for some years, he continues to play in many matches and meetings, off his 15 handicap. Winner of the Gold Cup in 2009 and society captain in 2016 & 2017.
